It's posible to unwind all those knots, I did it in my early 30 after being in some deep holes, so old dogs CAN learn new tricks. I think you are in the right path; you don't have the unrealistic objective of a perfect speech and accept your stutter, it's just a matter of time it gets better. But you need to do something about your family, that kind of toxic enviroment will hinder you. Try to educate them about how stutter work to make them understand the damage they are doing; if that doesn't work, then ask them to not make any mention about your stutter. You may also use some psychologist theraphy. Any good one will do it, but try reaching a stutter association in your country, they could have a list of psychologist that know how to specifically work with a person who stutter. Hang in there mate!
