I am confused. You are talking about his stutter like it was a new development in the relationship. Did he not stutter when you met him? And can you clarify what you're struggling to accept? If I'm gonna be honest, if I were him and I read this post, it would validate all of my worst fears of what I think others feel about my embarrassing disability...and the one person I'd hope would want and love me for who I was has to ask for support on accepting something he was born with.
