Sometimes people who don’t really know me well will call me soft spoken. It always makes me go “what?” inside because thats not how I see myself. There’s a student I worked with last year that everyone calls shy and quiet, she has a really severe stutter. I know she isn’t shy, I would actually take the time to listen to what she has to say and it was often very sassy.
