"Inability to work in teams"? Does email, IM, and other text-based forms of communication not exist in 2024? I also have a very severe stutter, and have had no trouble getting hired in my industry within banking/finance. I just mostly communicate with IM (Skype/Teams) and email rather than verbally. There has been no issues so far, as no one at my current or previous employers are illiterate. However, I will say that the jobs in my field are more "back office". I'd certainly wouldn't be able to work at a customer-facing job in a call center, for example. However, I'd assume that Software Engineer / Developer is more of a "back office" kind of job where your stutter should pose no real practical issues.
