I think you’re taking the “practice makes perfect” term wrong. The point is simply just speak to people and have conversations in your daily life even if you will stutter. You are practicing to get your mind used to flowing properly. Focusing on strategies in your head given to you by a therapist will only make things much worse. Everyone’s stutter is different so you’ll eventually find your own strategies that work for you to improve fluency. Good luck bud.
