Hey man, I really feel what you’re saying. I’ve been living for years with severe chronic pain from a misplaced shoulder prosthesis, and I also deal with Ménière’s disease on top of it. On top of that I’ve been through a lot of psychological blows: my landlords harassed me for years, I even had a police raid at my home based on a malicious anonymous report. I lost my home and my son now lives with his grandparents. I’ve been at the point of trying to end it myself too. What I want you to know: 24 years of pain and stress is an incredible burden. Nobody should compare suffering or say “others have it worse.” Your pain is real and it matters. But even in the darkest times, there can be unexpected moments of support and light. Sometimes from people you’ve never met, sometimes from the smallest things. You’re here, writing this, and that shows there’s still a part of you that wants to be heard. That’s already so valuable. You don’t have to carry this alone. Seek out people who will really listen — not compare, not minimize, just be there. You deserve support and relief, not a permanent solution to your pain. If you want to talk, I’m here. You’re not alone in this fight. Stay strong.
