I think you'll be alright. I fail to see why NOT stuttering would be necessary in a cashier job. Meaning, people don't expect you to provide perfect speech when they just wanna pay for this stuff and go. And honestly if someone feels "offended" fine, you never wanted their approval anyway! You can try using hand gestures while you speak, or saying things like "I'll check...(The price)" Or "ok wait a sec", or even put your hand on your chin and act like you're thinking. People don't need their answers asap, no one's life is on the line here. To buy yourself time to breathe before you speak. Also, the other comments here are also good advice. You'll be alright, and this isn't the only job in the world, and having a stutter isn't ever a bad or an offensive thing. And contrary to what we feel sometimes, but the large majority of people don't just suddenly feel their mood ruined if they encounter someone who stutters (if they do, they're dramatic and immature).
