No one else in my family stutters, just me. I’ve had it since I started talking and it improved significantly in my early schooling. Sometimes it gets worse for a while, sometimes it gets better. I mostly am a covert stutterer now. I don’t think any particular trauma or event caused my stutter. I think mine has to do with development or something though. I was born premature, I didn’t walk until I was 2, and I have some difficulty with fine motor skills but I get by on my own. So maybe it’s caused by the coordination of my muscles? I don’t know but my in case I don’t feel I need to know.
