When I first started stammering, I didn't really think of it as a big deal, until a day when I raised my hand to answer a question in class, I was trying very hard to get the answer out but I was stuck and couldn't go on. And the teacher imitated what I was saying and started laughing then asked me to sit down, then the entire class started laughing. That was the day I realised my stammer made me different.
