Hi, firstly I don't think stuttering is in the genes, my two sons speak perfectly and no one in my family stutters except for me, its something some of us just start doing without no apparent reason I think.. and you are right, it's a curse I would hate for any of my sons to of had.. hopefully your lad will grow out of it, if it does continue he is young enough to get professional help with.. either way, don't blame yourself!
