I have a medical student I am teaching and i notice that when she has to use a repeated phrase to a patient (like "exhale slowly" she doesnt stutter. ) I wonder whats happening there. I wonder if there might be a sort of exercise where she says the phrase in her head first, and then the spoken phrase is like the non-stuttered repetition.
