Your issue is either psychogenic, developmental stuttering (without chronic) or even before that 'early onset'. This is what you have. So logic dictates you will remove your stuttering (because 80% of people who outgrow stuttering is the majority). If somehow (small chance) you end up being the 20% who keeps stuttering after many years, then the fact that you are 'worrying/ruminating' about your stutter anticipation or triggers doesn't help you with that. So: Just let go, by not reacting to these stutter triggers. For example, if you have a trigger like: "I will stutter now". Don't react to this thought. A thought is just a thought without judgement or meaning. Once you engage or react to this trigger, then this stutter anticipation becomes REAL in your mind which is how you will 'create a chronic stutter mentality' after many years.
