I believe in not letting the stutter stop you. But, I left my job recently because of my stutter, I just couldn't continue, the constant stress about speaking got bad for my health both mentally and physically, I got high blood pressure, constant anxiety, thinking about my stutter every second at work made me stutter even more. I also noticed some people couldn't deal with my stressed out energy so I was also feeling guilty... I understand you have to go through military, so you can't just leave I assume? You got to go through this, after this, choose a profession that suits you. I'm surprised you had to go to military, in recruitment in my country they screen for mental health too, I probably wouldn't be allowed to join the military because of my stutter. I think we as stutterers should choose work that isn't impacting our wellbeing. A little challenge is prob good, it's easy to go into isolation and avoidance.
