There’s too much bootstrap and self help guru BS in this community. Stuttering lends itself to that type of thinking because it’s a spectrum and someone who stuttered as an adolescent may have “beaten” it and now feels qualified giving advice to a 35 year old severe stutterer. It’s exhausting but there’s some genuine experiences and stories people post here so I stay for those.
