The only thing that I found Helped me get through this:- whenever I'm talking with a new person- a person that I don't know- and he doesn't know me- my stuttering- I just love starting out the conversation with something like: Yo just so you know I was dropped on my head as a kid- and started stuttering a bunch from that point on- just so you don't get confused.( I don't know why- but it's really hard to stutter after that) I found whenever I initiate a convo/intertaction that way- I stutter way less- almost none at all. It's interesting, the same as I Found it when talking to women I find attractive- I feel like I completely forget that I'm prone to stuttering - you kind of put that pressure on yourself- and personally- I find that those situations work the best for me.
