Yeah, "accept it" is easier said than done. I'm just slightly younger than you and hold a highly technical leadership position as a contractor. It's a requirement that people have confidence in what I'm saying. I came to learn that I notice it a lot sooner than anybody else. It comes and goes for me, so maybe I give bad advice for people with severe stutters. But being kind to ourselves is important. There's a lot of overlap between stuttering and depression.
