I know many people who stutter and their professions include a doctor, speech therapist, school counselor, financial advisor, lawyer, journalist, chef, software engineer, transportation engineer (me). The reality is most jobs require some communication. The older you get the more you realize how little other people care about your speech. I think a bus driver, commercial electrician or welder, or mechanic would be a decent job if you're afraid of speaking to people.
