Yea same, anything oral that I had to do for class was anxiety inducing. I have a theory that a majority of stutterers have some form of general anxiety disorder of varying degrees. Just from the constant anxiety one feels of maybe blocking on a word anticipating a negative outcome from a speaking situation. My school days weren't filled with a lot of people laughing at my stutter though or making fun of it though. Maybe there was a few chuckes here and there. It was more so me being very frustrated and beating myself up over it. Feeling like I was always holding up class and not feeling understood. Just feeling drained by the constant struggle to speak everyday. It really kills your spirit and zest for life growling up.
