I'm not sure if I stutter more around them, I live in a different country and hardly see them, but it does happen. One would think the more familiar we are with family, those who are least likely to judge, the less we'd stutter. Which leads me to believe that anxiety, for some at least, isn't really a trigger for our impediment.
