So when I first met my husband (who stutters) honestly it was a little confusing for me because he’d be friendly over text but not in person, and I wondered if maybe he just didn’t want to hang out with me. And finally I was like, “What’s your problem?” and that’s when he explained that it was just a lot harder to talk than to text. And after that things were better and I knew that if he was quiet when we were hanging out it wasn’t because he was bored or having a bad time. So I’d say it wouldn’t hurt at all to contact her, but if you likely won’t see her again it’s not a big deal either way.
