Had a severe stutter through childhood that defined my childhood. Then had cancer in my early thirties and felt the weight of the world on my shoulders as I say in a hospital bed waiting for a 5cm tumor and my entire thyroid to be removed from poetically close to my voice box... I found five words just before that operation... One must imagine Sisyphus happy. It's a reference to an essay by the French philosopher Albert Camus. I quickly adopted it as a mantra and please seek out it's meaning in quotes and videos and decide for yourself... Camus offers us an infinite summer found in winter depths. I'm atheist, I'm in remission, I'm aromantic het cisgender male who lives alone with my cat, prioritises self improvement, adores meditation and appreciates silence. That's just me, there's a lesson in Camus' Sisyphus for us all. Peace, love and self determination for the win.
