So I’ve been on the McGuire program for close to 8 years. I don’t go to the courses anymore. However, I had a stutter where I could barely speak in most situations. In class, I would just not speak and in a lot of ways because mute. My blocking became so severe to a point of completely exhaustion from speech. My first few courses, quite literally, saved my life. The depression I was experiencing in relation to my stutter was very severe. The course is expensive, but there are payment plans to make the cost cheaper. Not only that. You do one course, and you have access to future courses and coaches on call 24/7 for the rest of your life. So, personally, I would like to continue to promote it. Most other programs or techniques are taught by people who don’t stutter. McGuire is literally created and organised all by people who stutter.
