This person is exactly right. I’m 33 so seeing the rise of texting in high school was a godsend. But beyond that everything is moving to apps. And I mean EVERYTHING. It’s coming to the point you can do anything without any human contact lol. That’s not a good thing but it’s true. We really are too hard on ourselves considering everyone is already afraid of talking to each other anyway lol. App based dating is a great way to show your personality. Then after you’ve reeled them in with your personality tell them before you meet up that you have a stutter and that it lessens the more you get to know someone. The right person will see past it. I was with my guy for over five years and he didn’t care about. In fact he would routinely tell me I never stuttered anymore and mine is quite severe. We broke up for different reasons but it’s not a deal breaker. And more often than not people find it charming and endearing. We all have horror stories, BELIEVE ME, but despite them WE are the ones who care the most and we need to be kinder to ourselves.
