Thanks for sharing! I have noticed the same thing happening to me when speaking in English, which is not my native language as well. I probably would suggest the reason behind it goes to English being phonetically easier than Arabic- my native language. Maybe besides some sort of willingness & the time you probably give yourself to think before uttering anything in your second language that can allow you a couple of seconds to breathe before speaking.
