Take 3 deep breaths before exhaling, focus on your breathing exercises, clear your mind while speaking at a steadied pace and make eye contact with your audience. Your confidence will grow with each passing word, sentence, paragraph and conversation. Hang in there. Practice regularly speaking with your family and loved ones. I went from being a “frightened but insecure child, teen, university student afraid of oral presentations” to a “confident, well spoken working professional that regularly speaks to a room full of people”.
