Good for you, man. I remember when my family was on vacation ages ago I was ordering food at Burger King and I couldn’t say ‘Whopper’. I stumbled on it a few times and she mimicked my ‘wo-wo-wo-whopper’ and giggled to her co-workers. I was ashamed and embarrassed. It’s so rare I run into people that aren’t patient with my speech blocks here in Canada. Most people are understanding. But you get the odd one who is so insensitive I think it just says way more about them then it does about you. Again, good for you for calling her out. She deserved it and I’m sorry you went through that. I’ve been there and it sucks.
