We all know sometimes stutterers avoid speaking situations...so by having the girl call off a date because we stutter....yes that's rude!!! But it's like she is wanting to avoid the stuttering person when in fact WE are the ones who usually avoid such speaking situation.....they are doing the avoiding for us.....!!! That might be very rude for some girl to cancel a date due to a stuttering person, but we are the ones who often avoid speaking situations because of our problem!! They are avoiding the speaking situation for us.....if that makes any sense to anyone! It's sort of a mean or rude way to help out the stutterer by not putting the stutterer in a situation where he will have to struggle and strain himself for the date.....
