Approaching people is not easy! I feel like thats the hardest part since a hard stutter right at the start of even just saying “hi” makes me want to absolutely die. But after that initial intro, I’ve never had an issue with stuttering and dating. I’ll just say “sorry, i have a little stutter” when it happens and move on. Sometimes theyll ask about it but never in bad faith, it can make good conversation if you joke around it. People I’ve dated have all understood and not cared, some even think it’s cute. Intros wil always be scary imo especially with a stutter, but if you can push through it I think you’ll find it becomes a non-issue or at least not as bad as it seems in your own head.
