finding rl friends in your mid 20s is hard

finding rl friends in your mid 20s is hard i try since couple months now to make real life friends but everytime i met with someone i get ghosted afterwards. i always ask them in first place if they are able to handle it. everything was nice at each meeting etc. but in the end i end up alone and sometimes get a last messages with "sry i can't handle it". it would be easier if people would learn to be honest and less nice because it sucks. what's ur experience with it?
