I fucking hate when ppl say this. At one point I actually played along to make them feel more comfortable? The last time this was said to me was by a customer at the cafe I worked at, and I told him, "no i didn't forget my name. i have a stutter" and his eyes just got really big and i think he said oh its okay or something. From them on he always avoided eye contact and pretty much all interaction w me. 😂
