Customer Feeback on my performance at work Hi, so I have had a stutter since I was around 10/11 I'm 23 now and thought I was at peace with everything until today. So at my job we wear masks and it's one on one So I have to talk to my customers quite alot of the time and most of them can tell I have a stutter and don't mention it at all which I appreciate. This one customer I had, I did everything as normal except I was having a really hard time talking but I got through it eventually, well it turns out they made a complaint about me I'm also a fast speaker so I have to repeat myself quite often which I'm happy to do. This customer asked me to repeat myself a few times which I happily obliged to except I couldn't get the words out one time and I sometimes i have to make a noise when I can't say the word just to fill the silence. This customer put it down as sighing. This has all just made me really self conscious about my stutter and has really got to me and made me dread about other people thinking I'm being rude to them when I'm just trying to manage my stutter. Sorry for the long post but it just really has gotten to me.
