I’d like to start by saying I’m not a doctor nor am I a therapist so everything I’m about to say should be taken with a grain of salt. The fact that you have good days where you hardly stutter makes it sound like your stutter is psychological more than it is a “cerebral flaw”. So think back to when you first began to stutter. Did something traumatic happen to you? Did you find yourself having to explain yourself to your parents more or something along those lines? (Don’t answer this on Reddit but think to yourself). Because chances are deep down you’re afraid to speak to people, you’re afraid of there reaction to you. I’ve been in your shoes, I’ve struggled with a stutter since I was 8 years old and I want you to know that you are not your stutter. I know it causes so much pain but I promise you it does not control you, it’s doesn’t make you any less of a person. You may have dealt with jerks in the past but I promise they’re the ones with problems, not you. What is suggest is working on self love and your mindset. If you ever need to talk you can add my on discord. Just DM me on Reddit and I’ll give you the discord name. I’d love to hear more about this.
