Phone stutter Hey guys, just started following this sub. I've been dealing with an embarrassing phone stutter for about a year and a half to two years now. It happens every time I go to answer the phone at work. My mouth freezes up and nothing comes out for a few seconds, so I act like I'm clearing my throat or something of that nature to get my words to form. I work in transportation and we do everything out of an office with computers and phones. Every time it rings, I have to say (ex.) "Company name, this is so and so". For the past year or so, my boss told me that it was fine for me to say (ex.) "this is so and so" instead. I'm thankful my coworkers don't give me tried about it and they seem to be supportive, but I've had a couple of our customers make fun of me for it. It's getting to the point to where it's making me depressed. I need some sort of fix to this or another way to deal with it. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
