If it's only psychological, why does stuttering run in families? Why do brainscans show stutterers have abnormal brains (high dopamine spikes)? Why does research show stutterers have a restricted bloodflow to the broca area of the brain? Stuttering has psychological aspects, which is why some stutterers are able to be fluent when they play a role. In my experience those only have a minor stutter to begin with.
