Right, there really is no way of knowing. If you're back to being fluent when you sober up, my non-scientific opinion would be to not worry about it. For me personally, I notice differences in my fluency when under certain influences, but when I sober up I'm back to my normal rate of disfluency. My sober stutter hasn't really changed over the years, so that's my 2 cents.
