That’s inexcusably cruel. I’m sorry that people behaved that way. No matter how many times I read about people’s experiences like this, it never ceases to leave me shocked and appalled. Stuttering is a neurological condition that does not reflect your intelligence or capability or worth. It isn’t you who should be feeling ashamed in this situation, but the people who behaved so inexcusably bad.
