Stuttering cost me a girl?? *College student, basically no stutter when talking to someone one on one, but it comes out heavily when speaking publicly. I'm decently handsome and pretty charismatic.* ​ Was in a class group with this very beautiful girl, and over the course of team projects and things like that the energy between us started to become more loose and flirty. Constant laughing, joking, great prolonged eye contact, one of those "things that you cant explain but you know when it's there" kind of a thing to the point where I felt she might have had a crush/attraction to me. This went on for the semester to the point where I even think she *briefly* once leaned her head on my shoulder and stood in a way that made my arm slightly graze her boobs. ​ Then came our final presentation to the class, and as smooth as I am one on one, I totally lose confidence talking to a group, and this time, I stuttered a lot. **After that, she gave me nothing. No banter, no eye contact, no boob grazing, no laughing and joking. Nothing** ​ I feel like her seeing the "real me", the "stuttering me" really turned her off and that was that. Not calling her shallow or anything, not even that upset that I didn't "get" her, it just sucks that stuttering is always a part of me in one capacity or another. ​ # Anyone else have a similar story?
