My daughter and I stutter, but very mild. My wife doesn't stutter. She claims my daughter doesn't stutter and that I am cured. However, I do still stutter. I rarely stutter around my family. Some people honestly don't "hear" the stutter and answers truthfully. Even if they hear the stutter, if it infrequent, they don't register it as a problem, so they forget about it also. None of my daughter's teachers also remembers her stuttering when I asked at a parent teacher conference.
