As I've grown older, I tend to think of my speech/stuttering as more of a disability. It makes me feel better, like this is something bigger than me, that has been outside of my control. I still work on putting myself in difficult situations and trying to improve my communication skills, but I started stuttering at such a young age, I can't keep faulting myself for it, you know?
