The definition of a disability in the UK under the 2010 Equality Act is ''a physical or mental impairment that has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on your ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities'' 1. "physical or mental impairment"- difficult to physically speak, so would class as a disability at this stage 2. "substantial and long-term adverse effect"- experience anxiety every day in speaking situations, so would still class as a disability 3. "normal day-to-day activities"- activities such as ordering a coffee or meeting friends- have to psych yourself up for them every single blooming day, so would still class as a disability. In my opinion, stuttering is still a disability, on a similar level as having a visual impairment. You're not fully blind with a visual impairment, but have a reduced range of vision. Similar to having a stutter, you can still talk, but not as fluently. According to me, these two things are similar, so I would class a stutter as a disability
