Should i avoid supplement that raises dopamine? Hello, i have read much about that we who stutters have abundance of dopamine, so i have recently tried to avoid things that raises dopamine levels. For example i have quit porn and masterbating (/r/nofap), dont drink caffeine, and will drink less alcohol. I used to take some supplements but i quit after i found out they raise dopamine levels. I have only been doing this for 8 days and i cant feel anything special yet, but it feels good to have a sober weekend after drinking every weekend for 3 months. Still i feel it is strange i should avoid ashwaganda, gingko and other supplements that help for anxiety. Is it smartest to avoid such things because they raises dopamine?
