As others have said, avoiding filler words is dumb. It will make you sound robotic. Even companies are training AI voices to use filler words to make it sound natural. Only place where filler words should be avoided is in a prepared speech. In a conversation, filler words are a must. I would even say you must start adding filler words in conversations if you are not doing it already.
