Hi! I'm similar in some ways. I've also been stuttering all my life and recently decided to look for a stuttering subreddit to feel less alone (especially as a "girl" who stutters, although I turned out to be a trans guy, so *shrug*). I just hadn't gotten around to making an intro post, so I guess this is technically my first post here. On the name thing, I always hated stuttering on my name. Since I'm trans there are several new names I use now, and I do still stutter on most of them (the added confidence helps though). Interestingly, there was a while in which I mainly used a one syllable name that begins with D (I won't say which as it's pretty unusual), and I hardly stuttered on it, which was awesome. Anyway thanks for sharing!
