In 3rd grade, I moved and went to a new school. You know those stupid in class intros at the start of the school year? Yea, well we had to do those. During recess, one kid came up to me and just simply said "hi" with a big smile on his face. Turns out, he noticed me stutter during my intro and immediately wanted to be my friend. Why? Because he also did and it was the first time either one of us had met someone who did. We were great friends until High school where we lost contact. In High School, my speech pathologist stuttered too. Edit: I can still get into contact with him as I have multiple friends who know his sister actually. One day soon I'll see how's he doing.
