Of course, it’s going to depend on your company culture, but I had loads of conversations when I worked in the corporate world. It definitely makes work a lot more enjoyable, and you’re probably going to work for the rest of your life so I would give it a shot. Being comfortable enough to speak with your coworkers would probably reduce your overall anxiety level which would even possibly improve your stutter. It only takes being able to communicate regularly with 2-3 people to make all the difference in the world. Given my customer support job position, I dealt with hundreds of people over the years, but just saying that you only need a few people to make going to work that much more enjoyable. It’s just like school really. Everyone wants to make friends. Give it a go! You only live once!
