But I firmly believe that we only stutter because we are afraid of certain words and spontaneity of speech. So I try to embrace carefreeness and comfort instead of disfluency, because we’re not innately dis fluent. If you can talk without stuttering alone, that alone shows we’re not “disfluent” but instead so deeply conditioned to hesitate on words. Which can be fixed with the removal of the fear and hesitation - enter voluntary stuttering.
