I just started at my fire dept. 4 months of an academy and now online, I feel the same way at times. 99% of the time, I think about me stuttering more than the people around me. There’s that one random guy who feels the need to mock you, 99% of those times it’s people who haven’t noticed you have a stutter, after you tell em they move on. Had always been a big deterrent for me in this industry, however, it’s a deterrent for anything other than a remote non communication job, and you and I are meant for more than that.
