Absolutely, I totally agree with you. Just experiencing a sensation or tightness in the throat without attaching any significance to it tends to reduce stuttering. It's when we assign a belief to this throat sensation, convincing ourselves to stutter, that we begin to react and get caught in the cycle. Good catch!
