I did 4 day programme to help my speech. it was a group thing and the first night was a welcome evening. there must have been 25 other stammerers there, and the noise of everyone talking was deafening. i guess that very few of us had met other stammerers in real life and get to share our similar stories of embarrassment and avoiding. welcome to the club!
