My speech therapist taught me this. You have to practice letting your thoughts flow out of your mouth. If you think about it too much, you'll start to anticipate the stutter and it'll mess with your head. You have to let the words come naturally and not filter them to make them "more appropriate". Just say what you want the way you want to say it and I guarantee your stutter will become more tolerable. It'll still be there, but you won't struggle with your body as much.
